We use premium-grade float glass as the base material. The glass is carefully selected for optical clarity, minimal distortion, and consistent thickness. For laminated products, we use high-quality PVB interlayers that bond the glass layers together.

The glass is cut to the required dimensions using precision cutting equipment. For curved glass panels, the glass is heated and bent to the exact curvature required by the vehicle design. Duratuf Glass has extensive experience in producing both flat and curved glass products.

For laminated windshields, the glass is created by bonding multiple layers of glass with PVB interlayers under heat and pressure. This lamination process creates a single, strong unit that holds together even when impacted — the glass may crack but the fragments remain bonded to the interlayer, preventing injury.

For toughened glass products, the glass is heated to high temperatures and then rapidly cooled. This process creates compressive stress on the surface and tensile stress inside, making the glass much stronger than ordinary annealed glass. When toughened glass breaks, it shatters into small, relatively harmless pieces rather than sharp shards.

Every commercial light glass product undergoes rigorous quality checks — including optical clarity tests, impact resistance tests, and dimensional verification — before it leaves our facility. Our glass products are manufactured in accordance with ISI standards, and the complete process is carried out under controlled conditions to ensure homogeneous and consistent quality.
