Tempered curved glass is strengthened through a heating and rapid cooling process, making it up to five times stronger than ordinary glass. When broken, it shatters into small, blunt pieces. Laminated curved glass consists of two glass layers bonded with a thermoplastic interlayer. It holds together even when broken, providing additional safety.
